The department made a Facebook post on Monday afternoon, May 15, asking residents of Bottomley Avenue and Brown Street to keep their kids and pets inside as animal control searches and attempts to capture or kill the animal. 

Anyone with information should contact animal control officials at (508) 892-7010 Ext 8 immediately.
